Essential supplements you cannot do without in the gym

Here are some of the basic essential supplements one can do without in the gym
(irrespective of the brand)
 

  • whey protein powder (isolated,hydrolyzed,concentrated ,blend etc)
  • Creatine (5 gms on your workout days )(for strength)
  • Beta-alanine( an amino acid that controls the buildup of acid in your muscles caused by intense or prolonged exercise.)
  • Glutamine(for recovery)
  • flax seed oil( for EFA'S)
  • any good multivitamin
  • vitamin c 1000 mg (prior to workout)
  • calcium
  • BCAA'S(helps in protein synthesis)
